SUMMARY:BIA Annual Membership Meeting & Spike Night
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Meeting of the Membership will be held Thursday\, October 8 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Seawell's\, and it's going to be a busy afternoon! We will hold elections for the 2021 BIA Board of Directors as well as the Remodelers Council and High Performance Building Council Executive Committees. We'll also announce the winners of the Central SC Building & Remodeling Awards at this meeting.\n\n\n\nMembers are invited to attend Builder Workshops on "Navigating the New Norm"- panel discussions with local experts begin at 4:00 p.m. at Seawell's. \n\n\n\nMembers will get a first look at the new Be Pro Be Proud mobile lab that promotes learning trade skills to the youth of South Carolina. The truck will be open for viewing from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.\n\n\n\nIt's also SPIKE Night where we celebrate those members who help grow the membership by recruiting new members. SPIKE Club Members will enjoy a special steak dinner and wine at your table. All other attendees will enjoy the Seawell's buffet. If you're a SPIKE\, please select the "BIA SPIKE Club Member" option when registering so we can prepare enough steaks. \n\n\n\nSocial distancing rules and protocols will be followed at this meeting. Attendees must wear masks when not actively eating or drinking. Dinner will be served buffet-style by Seawell's Staff.\n\n\n\nPlease register in advance if you plan to attend. All BIA members attend at no charge. This meeting is also free to attend for Council-Only Members. Guests and non-members may attend for $25 each with pre-registration.
