Builders Day at the Capitol
BIA Members will head to Gallivan White & Boyd to hear from a number of speakers and then head to the State House to speak with legislators the day after the Bird Supper.

8:00am to 8:30am – Director Myra Reece with S.C. Department of Environmental Services (DES)
8:30am to 8:45am – SC Attorney General Alan Wilson (SCAG)
8:45am to 9:30am – Justin Powell and Allen Hutto with the S.C. Department of Transportation (SCDOT)
9:30am to 10:00am – Molly Price with S.C. Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR)
10:00am to 10:45am – Russ Dubisky with the S.C. Coalition for Lawsuit Reform
10:45am to 11:30pm – Ron Tate and Taylor Stairs
11:30pm to 12:30pm – Mark Nix – Summary of 2026 Legislative Session

The State House is located at 1100 Gervais Street, which is at the intersection of Gervais and Main Streets, Columbia, South Carolina.
