Workforce Development Resources for Construction

A workforce development information session will be held for the construction industry. The purpose of this event is to get the construction industry better connected to employment recruiting resources, workforce data and statistics, education and training programs for new and existing workers, opportunities to develop a pipeline of future workers and contacts with workforce agencies and institutions to include: Midlands Technical College, SC Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Works, Apprenticeship Carolina, Jobs for Americas Graduates, SC Vocational Rehabilitation, Operation Palmetto Employment, MEBA and more.

The Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina will lead this meeting intended for employers and professionals in the construction industry. The event will take place at Midlands Technical College, Harbison Campus, 7300 College Street, Irmo, SC 29063. We will meet in the Continuing Education Building, Room #113 at 1:00 p.m. Parking will be available in the large parking lot on the left hand side as you approach the security hut.
